The Northgate Broncos won in the NCS Quarterfinals on Saturday. They skirted past the Matadors 39-37 to move on to the Semifinals on Wednesday.

It was a big night for Amelia Schrag, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Among many notables the team also got help from Hana Neuman, who scored nine points.

Northgate is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. As for Miramonte, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-11.

Northgate will head out on the road to square off against Montgomery at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
