Fall 2023 proved to be one of the best seasons in history for Northgate Girls Tennis! The team finished in sole possession of second place with a league record of 8-2, sweeping Campolindo and Acalanes with only losses to Miramonte, the #2 seed at NCS. The team also had strong non-conference wins over Washington, James Logan, and league champion, Heritage. The ladies were the 9th seed at NCS championships and lost to 8th-seeded Dublin 5-2 in a close match where they lead 4-3 after every first set. Sophomore Zuzi Duris won at line #2 singles, and Freshmen Karina Shteyn and Mia Thompson won at line one doubles. Junior Emma Golovin and Zuzi Duris were 1st team all league singles. Senior Charlotte Perrin was second team all league singles, and Seniors Angelina Chen and Natalie Zebley were 2nd team all league doubles. Girls Tennis hopes to build on the season's success in Fall 2024!
