Northgate Boys Water Polo Tryouts

When: August 10-14
Time: To Be Determined
Where: Northgate Pool
Teams:
- Varsity: 15-18 players
- JV: 16-20 players
- No guaranteed spots

Requirements:
- Register at NorthgateBroncos.org
- Have Physical forms submitted AND APPROVED (do it early)
- Strong swimming skills: Needs to be able to swim and tread water continuously for 2 hours
- Prior Water Polo Experience is helpful but not required
- Attend all practices and games: Any absence should be pre-approved by the coach
- Family must volunteer for jobs including at the Battle in the Creek

Water Polo requires dedication, endurance, knowledge, strength, discipline and sportsmanship. Those are the traits that we will be looking for at tryouts.

Acting out at tryouts or practices is unacceptable: Self discipline is required at practices

Parents of new participants please attend the team meeting at the Fall Sports Information Night. One or more of the Coaches and our Team Mom will be there to set expectations, provide team information and answer any questions.
