OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS
The girls dominated this season and won 8/10 races. Their only losses were by a narrow margin at the League Championship, where they were able to be co-champions due to the other league wins and at the State meet where they placed 6th. Most of these invitationals saw them competing against up to 20 schools in a single race, they won at Mt SAC in LA against D1 teams from the Southern Section and we re-wrote the list of top times for the State Meet and other races all season.
The boys improved all season and by October had won their first Invitational, the Artichoke Meet, after that they continued to improve and moved up from DAL 1 where they were 4th to 2nd place in the Championship. Despite being ranked 8th in Division 3, they pulled off a surprising and exciting 2nd place at NCS through tight pack running.
POST SEASON - the Bronco’s compete in Division 3 at NCS
Boys’ Varsity were 2nd place at NCS, qualified on for the State Meet where they ran the fastest team time in school history
Girls’ Varsity were back to back champions at NCS, and then went on to their highest ever place at the State meet of 6th with also the fastest team time ever.
