We want to celebrate more than fast race results - we want to celebrate the mini wins our team gets on a regular basis. Noticing who is working extra hard, doing more for the team beyond running. Putting team above self, or being brave and displaying team values of perseverance, humility and compassion for team mates.

Keira Sale
Keira is a three sport athlete. Not only a cross country runner, Keira is a celebrated wrestler and an accomplished hurdler. Despite having big ambitions on the wrestling team both this season and potentially in college she is dedicating herself to being the best cross country runner she can be this season too. Moving up from Group 5, to Group 4 (and Group 3 on one occasion), Keira is willing to do more, and try harder, even if at risk of being the slowest runner in a faster group. Since moving up we keep seeing ‘Keira just set a PR in the 5k’ on routine training runs. Being motivated to put in extra effort and the humility to put yourself at the back of a faster group is what moves you forwards as a runner.
