The Northgate Baseball Program is committed to supporting our student-athletes on and off the field. We expect and demand that our players are as disciplined and focused in the classroom, as they are on the field. Thus, we will employ a "Program acedimic coach" that will notify and communicate with the student and the parents if there is an issue. In addition the acedemic coach will work with the student regarding preperation for college. Any Player with a GPA under 2.25 will be required to meet with the Academic coach prepare an action plan(printable version available below) for improvement before participating in the next Baseball activity.
It is expected that all baseball players act maturely, responsibly, and appropriately around campus and in the classroom. This means actively participating in class activities, respecting teachers and administrators, setting a good example for other students, speaking at appropriate times, using appropriate language, and so forth.
It is a privilege to participate in the Northgate Baseball Program and no player is bigger than the Program, team, or school. The Program is here to develop productive members of society and our number one priority is our program family members.
