Champion Guidelines

  1. Arrive  early enough to prepare for every practice.
  2. We expect the players  and their families to have made a strong commitment to the program.
  3. We demand you follow the Programs code of ethics, No Alcohol, drugs, or tobacco. No cursing on the field, buses, or school environment. Self-discipline must be adheared to.
  4. Focus on the Program first,  No hat, helmet, glove, or bat throwing. These traits show weakness and lack of discipline. Even more, they show that you have little confidence in your team or teammates.
  5. Be prepared with your equipment. Game day shirts must be worn. Practice and game attire must be worn properly and tucked in, including on bus trips. There will be no jewelry worn at practice, games or buses.
  6. You may not always realize that your coaches are trying to get the most of your potential- but we are. It is unacceptable to argue or attempt to get the last word with any member of the coaching staff.
  7. If you don't practice, you won't play.
  8. Strive for excellence at practice. Competitors never let down their teammates by taking it easy or doing it wrong. Bad habits, repeated, are a waste of time.
  9. Understand what constitutes a mentally tough baseball player. A player's attitude at practice, during the games in the dugout, and throughout the game determine whether one is a winner or is merely a conditional athlete that needs everything to be going perfectly in order to be successful. We look for competitors, players who can overcome adversity and find success.
  10. Arguing with umpires is unacceptable and will result in being pulled immediately from the game.
  11. Teammates are the key to your success. Any inappropriate actions towards them will not be tolerated.
  12. Succeed or fail  stand together.
