Jon Burchett is in his 8th season as an assistant baseball coach at Northgate. He was the head coach of the JV team for four seasons and has assisted at the varsity level for another four.

Burchett a graduate of UC Santa Cruz earned his law degree from Hastings Law School before becoming a teacher at Northgate. He is in his 11th year as a social science teacher at Northgate and is heavily involved with Mock Congres and the Model UN. He enjoys playing  baseball, golf, fantasy baseball, and spending time with his wife, and two sons.

Max Churich, a 2003 graduate of Northgate High School, is in his second season as a varsity baseball assistant. He was the assistant freshman and junior varsity baseball coach from 2004 - 2009. As a high school baseball player Churich was the starting varsity catcher during his junior and senior years and earned All-League Honors as a senior. After graduating from Northgate he attended Diablo Valley College and Chico State majoring in History. He is currently working on becoming a teacher and is the Youth Sports Director at Walnut Acres Elementary Day Care. During his spare time he enjoys playing golf, softball and spending time with his friends and family.

Yogi Yeend is in his eighth season as an assistant baseball coach at Northgate. A 2001 graduate of Northgate, Yeend was a three year starter on the baseball team in high school. He earned All-League honors and was voted team captain during his junior and senior seasons.

After graduating high school, Yeend attended Santa Barbara City College and San Francisco City College where he was the starting catcher and earned All-League honors. He then transferred to York College (Nebraska) where he played baseball and majored in English. Yeend started every game of his collegiate career.

Yeend is the tour manager for the chart-topping band Rebelution, and enjoys golf, softball, fantasy baseball, and spending time with family and friends.
