Great job ladies!  Looking forward to an amazing year with such a talented group!

There will be an audition specifically for the Varsity Dance Team, May 11th & 12th.  I am looking for experienced dancers to fill the open spots on the current team.  If you love to dance, want to support your school, and have an amazing time, then come on out!  Varsity Dance Team candidates need to download the Dance Team try-out packet and read through the information.  Fill out the application and bring with you on May 11th in the NHS Gym @ 3:30PM-4:30PM (please be prompt!) where you will learn your audition material.  May 12th will be your audtion day, in the NHS Dance Room @ 11:00AM.  Dancers will check in at this time, and will perform before a panel of judges.  Once you are done, you are free to go.  Audition results will be posted by Sunday afternoon.  Please email me with any questions you may have, GOOD LUCK!!

Please spread the word!  Click on the links that follow and forward on to anyone you think may be interested.  We had such a successful Jr. Bronco program during our Football Season, that we have decided to bring it back for Basketball.  Please make note that the practice times are different then stated on the flyer, it will be 3:30-5PM on both days.  The dancers will start at their normal practive time at 2:30PM on Thursday.  Please let me know A.S.A.P of any conflicts.  Also let those interested know that they may contact myself for any questions or concerns.  Go JR. Ali is an exemplary Dance Team Member and was therefore chosen as the Dancer of the Week.  She has improved so much as a dancer, is always prepared and is never without her great attitude.  Oustanding job Ali on an acheivement well deserved! 

Jennifer McClain stood out and has been choosen as our Dancer of the Week.  In her senior year, our new Dance Team member has grown to be an asset on the team.  Jennifer has a glowing presence that certainly shows on the field.  Keep it up Jennifer, congratulations!

Alaina was selected as our Dancer of the Week for her stand out game performance.  Our enthusiastic veteran has been a dedicated team member and valued presence in our dance room.  Congratulations Alaina on a job well done!

Emily is recognized this week for her leadership and teamwork.  She is one of our veterans who stepped up to the plate during our homecoming game and lead her team through the successful event.  Thank you Emily for your coninued commitment and dedication to the Dance Team, keep it up! 

Don't forget to mark your calendars, our team picture day is coming up, October 22nd, 1:00PM-3:00PM.  We are so lucky to have photographer and dance team dad, Dave Mascorro, to be our photographer for the day.  We will shoot at our beatiful new Sports Complex, please meet at the NHS parking lot at 12:45PM.  Come ready to go in clean uniform, with poms, hair down and no jewelry except for single rhinestone stude.  Feel free to bring box if you would like to use in you individual shot.  Be ready for your photo shoot!

Be ready for next week's Junior Bronco Clinics.  Spread the word and be ready to teach our future Bronco Spirit Leaders on Monday, 10/24 and Wednesday, 10/26, 3:30P-5:00PM. 

Emma was singled out this week for her amazing attitude and positivity.  Our young Freshman has been an exemplary team member and works hard to continue learning, improving and growing as a dancer.  Keep up the good work Emma!

 Erica was chosen as the Dance Team's Dancer of the Week.  Saying she is an asset to this team is an understatement.  Erica has demonstrated class, maturity and above all, amazing leadership.  She is certainly a valued member and deserves the recognition.  Great job Erica!

Congratulations to the Varsity Dance Team this year for a winning performance at the Walnut Festival Twilight Parade this year.  The team represented their home town last Saturday and held their ground, coming in 3rd place behind Pittsburg High Cheer and Contra Costa Christian Cheer in the Spirit Category.  When the pressure was on, these ladies come to play, way to represent dancers!

 Carly was recognized this week for her commitment and enthusiam throughout the entire game against Dougherty Valley.  She is one of our captains, and has been an asset to the Dance Team from the start. Congrats to Carly on a job well done!  

 Jenny was chosen this past week as The Dance Team's first Dancer of the Game!  She was chosen for her showmanship, crowd appeal and performance thoughout the entire game.  Great job Jenny, that hard work has certainly paid off.  Keep up the good work!

The Dance Team and Varsity Cheer will perform at the first rally of the year this Friday!  Full uniform will be worn to school, and as usual, no extra jewelry except for stud earrings.  Hair may be worn half-up with bows.  GO BRONCOS!

Northgate High School's newest addition to the spirit program is the Varsity Dance Team!  In it's second season, this high energy team has added an exciting element to the Bronco school spirit.  The 15 member team has already sparked rave reviews from their leadership, talent and thrilling performances.  They come from various dance backgrounds and work hard to perform as one and captivate their audiences.  Look out for this team this year on and off the field as they get involved in the community and show their school pride and spirt, GO Broncos!  Please contact Dance Team Director/Coach, Natalie Pricco, for team inquiries...
