Northgate High School Athletics

School SPIRIT through leadership & teamwork!  Our 2012-2013 Bronco SPIRIT Team took charge this year!  This group of talented young ladies are bursting with school SPIRIT and focused with bringing that onto the Northgate campus and surrounding community.  The Bronco SPIRIT program is fun & exciting to be a part of, allows a plethora of leadership opportunities, and operates on team values of cooperation, friendship, and respect.  The number one goal of the Northgate High School SPIRIT Program is supporting the Bronco community, which includes athletics, the student body, school administration, and the surrounding neighbors.

As we have concluded tryouts & selected teams for the 2013-14 Bronco Spirit Cheerleading program, we continue to have one goal in mind...let's put Northgate on the map as the most SPIRITED school in town!  GO BRONCOS!

A huge congrats to a successful competitive season for our NHS Bronco Competitive Cheer Squad.  They had an incredible year as a Medium Novice Varsity Show Cheer team, scoring three 3rd place finishes & an exciting competition at USA Nationals.  Coach Jenna & Katie are so proud of this team and everything they have overcome to compete with one heart & one spirit.  

Congrats to the 16 members made up of both NHS Varsity & JV Spirit squads; Alison Andrade, Stephanie Aiello, Andrea Bagordo, Jordan Brown, Megan Chappell, Madison Chetcuti, Annalisa Donisi, Allison Doran, Madeline Graves, Annie George, Jasmine Gregory, Alyson Henry, Sam Holcomb, Nikki Perkins, Shannon Stucki & Kristen Wilde.

Summer practices for the 2013-2014 season will begin on June 5th and will be Wednesdays and Thursdays. While the athletes are still in school, Wednesday practices will be 4:00 - 5:30 at EBSA in Concord, and Thursday practices will be 3:00 - 4:30 at NHS. After school gets out for the summer, Wednesday practices will be 3:00 - 5:00 at EBSA, and Thursday practices will be 11:00 - 12:30 at NHS (right after Strength and Conditioning). We will send out a calendar with these dates and times shortly. Practices will be suspended during Finals week.

• Physicals are due no later than July 1!  Please schedule yours with your physician today!  (Exceptions will be made for those attending the NHS Physical Clinic on July 2.)
• Please return your Vacation Notice email to the coaches ASAP!
• USA Cheer Camp will be July 15-18.
• NHS Cheer Choreography Camp will be August 12-15 and 19-22 at East Bay Sports Academy.
