Jon Campopiano is serving in his first year as Vice Principal at Northgate High School and is a former teacher, Athletic Director and head baseball coach at the school. Campopiano, was a varsity head coach for eight seasons and has been a baseball instructor for nearly 20 years.
While the coach at Northgate from 1999-2002 and in 2008 and 2009, Campopiano led the team to the NCS post-season each season and reached the NCS Championship Game in 2001 and 2008. Campopiano has helped dozens of his players play baseball at the next level (Junior College, Division III, Division II, and Division I) and has been directing summer camps for over ten years. Campopiano is certified in CPR, First Aid, and youth coaching.

Ben Campopiano is in his first season as head baseball coach at Northgate High School. He served as an assistant baseball coach for five years coaching from 1999-2002 and from 2008-2009. Campopiano is in his second year teaching Social Studies at Northgate.
Campopiano, a 1998 graduate of Northgate played baseball, football, and soccer at Northgate and was also involved with student government and leadership at NHS. After graduating from Northgate, Campopiano went to Cal Poly University (San Luis Obispo) and Diablo Valley Junior College before graduating from Saint Mary's College of California with a Communications Degree in 2003.
Campopiano spent three years working in the political arena in Washington, D.C., Boston, and San Francisco before returning to the Bay area to teach and coach. He currently is a social science teacher at Northgate and lives in Walnut Creek. He enjoys golfing, reading, fantasy sports, and spending time with his friends, and family.
