Bronco Baseball Camps

Bronco Baseball camps are run by Northgate Baseball's head coach, Jon Campopiano. Campopiano, is in his 7th season as a varsity head coach and has been a baseball instructor for nearly 20 years. While the coach at Northgate from 1999-2002, Campopiano led the team to the NCS post-season each season and reached the NCS Championship Game in 2001. Campopiano has helped dozens of his players play baseball at the next level (Junior College, Division III, Division II, and Division I) and has been directing summer camps for over ten years. Campopiano is assisted at the camps by his Northgate coaches and players.

Bronco Baseball camps are designed for youth who are looking to have fun, improve their baseball fundamentals, and learn new baseball skills from high school baseball coaches. Each day at camp players will work on their hitting, fielding, throwing, and baserunning skills, and pitchers will have the opportunity to improve their mechanics as well. Besides individual instruction, the players will have the opportunity to compete in games and fun competitive events that will help hone their skills and improve their game awareness and competitive spirit.

- 13 - 15 year olds

- Advanced training available from 2:00-3:00pm on Monday-Thursday for $50.00 extra
Camp #2
- 6/23/08 - 6/27/08
- 9:00am - 2:00pm
- 7 - 12 year olds (separated by age and skill level)
- At Northgate High School Baseball Field
- $150.00 (checks made payable to: BRONCO BASEBALL)
- After camp care from 2:00-3:00pm on Monday-Thursday for $50.00 extra

Important Reminders:

Players should arrive a few minutes before 9:00am each day at the baseball field at Northgate High School
Players should be picked up at 2:00pm (unless staying for advanced training or after camp care which ends at 3:00pm)
Each player should bring a bag or backpack (put name on every item) with:
- Water bottle
- Sack lunch
- Baseball bat
- Glove
- Jacket or sweatshirt
- Sunscreen
Each player should wear:
- Baseball hat
- Baseball pants
- Comfortable shirt
- Cleats
