It costs dozens of dollars to buy bats and balls, thousands of dollars to build and maintain this website, and millions of dollars to build a new gym and football field. The money used for these things was neither given to us by the school district or granted to us by the government. Instead it was raised from private donations - big and small - over the course of the past few years. With each dollar the Northgate High School Athletic Department raises, the student-athletes get better equipment, coahes, and facilities. The simple fact is that without a steady flow of cash, we cannot provide the necessesaties to run a top flight athletic program. Over the past decade we've seen a wonderful movement from the community to participate in making NHS Athletics the best it can be. Today, we are asking that you and your family make a donation directly to the athletic department or to a particular athletic team, so that our student-athletes can recieve the support they deserve.
